Notes
1) Please treat this as an indicative itinerary. Final itinerary will be provided on confirmation of services.
2) Train timings / duration are subject to changes. Final details will be provided on confirmation of services. Fares on early morning / late evening trains are generally more expensive / attract supplements. Our quote excludes these supplements / surcharges.
3) Sometimes some places / attractions mentioned in the sightseeing tours may be closed due to local festivals, public holidays, security reasons or any events beyond control of the attractions / city municipal offices etc. It is practically impossible to keep a track of the same in advance. If a particular attraction is closed we will try our best to show the clients alternate / similar attraction if possible and available.
4) All tours are based on Seat In Coach basis (shared with other tourists) . Some full day tours are actually a combination of 02 half day tours.
5) On most tours the clients will be required to make their own arrangements to reach the tour departure point / closest pickup point at the start of the tour. The tour company does not offer courtesy pick up from all locations / hotels. Most half day tours start or end in the city centre so that the clients can explore the area before / after the tour. The clients will have to make own arrangements for traveling from hotel to tour start point or tour end point back to hotel. The drop off point for the full day tour may be the head office of the tour operator or a location close to the hotel where the guest is booked. The clients will have to make own arrangements for traveling back to the hotel after the tour.
6) Tour operator is very strict regarding the reporting time. If the client does not reach the pickup place on time they will not wait for them. In this 100% cancellation will be charged.
7) The tours exclude lunch / dinners / refreshments.
8) If the specified tour is not operating on that particular day then we reserve the right to offer an alternate our which may result in a supplement. If the same is not possible / acceptable then we will offer a reduction for this tour.
9) Please issue air tickets only after we confirm all the hotel / transfer / sightseeing reservations.
10) If the package booking is requested within 15 to 17 days from the date of departure then we will not be in a position to issue the train tickets. In this case we will offer you a reduction for the train fares and you can issue the train tickets in your country (rates may be slightly higher in your country) 11) In case the train does not operate due to any reasons (weather / strikes / technical etc). The client will have to make own arrangement for air tickets and bear the cost of the same. Silverlink Leisure Management will not be responsible.
Day 01 : Arrive in Rome
On arrival you will be transferred to hotel by Seat In Coach shuttle. Shuttle only operates between 0800hrs and 1900hrs. In case your flight arrives before / later then we may have to arrange a private transfer at an additional cost. Standard check-in time at hotels is 1400hrs. If you are arriving early hen we will request hotel for an early check-in but the same will be purely subject to availability and not guaranteed. Generally chances of getting a room before 1200hrs are low.
Rest of the day is free to relax / explore Rome on your own. Overnight at hotel in Rome. Meals – Nil.
Day 02 : Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own from hotel to the tour departure point of your full day tour of Rome (7hrs and 30mins).
Tour - This full day tour is a combination of 2 tours: Classical and Imperial Rome Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads, our local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical centre, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama - seat of the senate, Piazza Navona, Via dei Coronari (the Antiquarians Road). Passing alongside Castel Sant'Angelo and along Via della Conciliazione, we get the Basilica of St. Peter which you can visit with headphones provided by our guide. You will have the opportunity to admire the Pieta, a masterpiece of Michelangelo. Arriving by coach at Piazza Venezia you then continue on foot to the famous Piazza Del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo from where you will have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. By coach we will then drive by the Circus Maximus and the Aventino Hill. Stop to admire the beautiful statue of Moses by Michelangelo located in the Church of St. Peter's in Chains from where it will take us 5 minutes to reach the symbol of the eternal city: The Colosseum (visit inside, the entrance fee is included). Due to seasonal opening times the itinerary may be altered without notice.
Includes - Transportation by coach, guide service, stop at Piazza Navona, entrance and guided tour of the Pantheon, entrance and guided tour of the Basilica of St. Peter, entrance and guided tour of the Colosseum.
Please note - Entrance to churches requires appropriate attire (no shorts, miniskirt or uncovered shoulders). St. Peter's Basilica may be closed to the public, during religious ceremonies (Audiences, Beatifications, Masses of the Pope) or on Wednesdays in case the Papal Audience takes place in front of the Basilica. No drop off at the hotels can be arranged. Local guide could provide explanation in more languages.
After tour make your own way back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Meals – Breakfast
Day 3 – Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own from hotel to the tour departure point of your full day visit (12hrs) to Capri and Anacapri.
The Tour - Leaving Rome in a southerly direction you take the Highway of the Sun crossing the fertile Roman countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani. Approximately halfway along the highway you will be able to see the Benedictin Abbey of Montecassino, noted for the famous battle and its complete destruction during the Second World War. Arriving in Naples you will board the jet boat for the 45 minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Here you will then board motor boats to reach the Blue Grotto (available and included only from 01st April to 31st October). Mini buses are then used for a panoramic drive to reach Anacapri, situated at 280 metres above sea level from where you will have a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. After lunch (at own cost), you will have some free time to take unforgettable photographs and purchase local products before returning to Marina Grande to board the boat back to Naples. Entering the port of Naples, don't miss this opportunity to admire the splendid Maschio Angioino (a fortress of the 12th century), the Certosa of San Martino and the Royal Palace. After disembarking you will then take the coach for return journey of approx. 3 hours, back to Rome.
Please note - During the journey from Rome to Naples, it will not always be possible to make a comfort stop, but the boats for Capri have and restroom facilities. We would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. If the sea conditions are so bad as to not permit the boats to leave from Naples to Capri, it will be necessary to substitute this excursion with the excursion of Pompeii and the difference in price will be reimbursed.
After tour make your own way back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Meals – Breakfast
Day 04 – Rome / Florence
Breakfast at hotel. 1000hrs check out of hotel. Later make your own way from hotel to Rome Station to board train to Florence. Generally we book a train departing late morning / early afternoon. This journey takes approx 2hours. On arrival at Florence train station make your own way to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore Florence on your own. Overnight at hotel in Florence.

Day 05 : Florence
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own from hotel to the tour departure point of your half day tour of Florence (4hrs).
The Tour - Drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will proceed by coach through the old city centre. Then walking guided visit of the outdoor Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso and the visit of the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Galleria dell'Accademia where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist.
Please note: The Duomo cannot be visited on Sundays and National Holidays. On Mondays the Accademia Gallery is closed and this visit will be replaced by a visit to the Bargello Museum or to the Medici Chapel. As places of worship will be visited, please ensure appropriate clothing is worn.

Day 06 – Florence / Venice
Breakfast at hotel. Later make your own way from hotel to Florence train Station to board train to Venice. Most times the booking will be done on a train departing Florence around 08 or 9 am and arriving in Venice approx 2hrs and 30mins later.
On arrival at Venice train station make your own way to the hotel. You will have to take a private taxi boat from near train station to hotel as buses / taxis do not operate on Venice Island. The taxi boat costs approx EUR 250 per way and accommodates 3 to 4 persons maximum. Depending on the location of the hotel we can also pre arrange at an extra cost if required.
Leave bags at the hotel and proceed on your own to join the 2hours walking tour of Venice.
The Tour - Skip the queue at San Mark's Basilica! Visit St. Mark's Square and learn the history that lies behind the walls of its most famous landmarks: the Basilica, its Byzantine heritage, the Doge's Palace and its adjoining prisons, that retain true secrets to comprehend how a city built on swamps became one of the most enlightened cities of the western world, and learn how all of a sudden fate turned its back on her. Then leave the square to discover the 'real Venice', enter a labyrinth of narrow passageways and alleys where a magical city of meandering canals punctuated by delicate bridges awaits you. And through the sights and the historical narrations learn how illustrious Venetians, the likes of Casanova and Marco Polo, and more common citizens made this city of stone a vibrant and magical place. Discover how Venice is today and how it is to live in the most beautiful city in the world, though not the most practical!
Please note: St. Mark's Basilica may be closed to the public without prior notice and during religious ceremonies. In condition of high water, St. Mark's Basilica Skip the line entrance will remain closed. Appropriate dress should be worn in places of worship.
After walking tour return to hotel on your own and check-in to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Venice.

Day 07 – Venice
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own from hotel to the tour departure point of your half day tour (3hrs). Sail to Murano to see how the beautiful coloured glass is made, then on to the pretty islands of Burano and Torcello.
The Tour - After sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant'Elena and the famous Lido beach resort, the boat arrives in Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop for around 40 minutes to visit to one of the factories. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colours. The stop will last about 30 minutes. Then after a short cruise, we reach Torcello, the earliest centre of civilization in the estuary. Only the Cathedral with its magnificent mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain as testimony of its former glory. The stop will be for about 30 minutes then we return to St.Mark's Square.
Includes - Transportation by boat, visit to a Glass Factory.
After tour return to hotel on your own. Overnight at hotel in Venice. Meals – Breakfast.
Day 08 – Venice / Milan
Breakfast at hotel.
Later make your own way from hotel to Venice train Station to board train to Milan. You will have to take a private taxi boat from hotel to near train station. The taxi boat costs approx EUR 250 per way and accommodates 3 to 4 persons maximum. Depending on the location of the hotel we can also pre arrange at an extra cost if required. Most times the booking will be done on a train departing Venice late morning / early afternoon and arriving in Milan approx 3hrs later.
On arrival at Milan train station make your own way to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free to relax. Overnight at hotel in Milan. Meals – Breakfast.
Day 09 – MILAN
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed on your own from hotel to the tour departure point of your 3hrs of Milan.
Note – In case the tour is not operating on this day then we will do it on the previous day in the afternoon.
The Tour - After beginning the tour with a visit to the Scala museum and theatre we proceed with a stroll through the sumptuous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (the world's oldest arcade) reaching Piazza Fontana. We continue the tour on foot to view the Palazzo Reale and to visit the breathtaking Duomo.The tour proceeds with a panoramic drive by coach past many of Milan's most important sights including the Arco della Pace, the churches of Santa Maria delle Grazie (home to Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper) and San Lorenzo, Corso Venezia and Piazza San Babila and the courtyard of Milan's magnificent Sforzesco Castle. Our final stop is to see Leonardo da Vinci's great masterpiece - The Last Supper. The local guide will bring all of these great monuments to life.
Please note - During religious ceremonies, the Duomo may be closed to the public. Appropriate dress should be worn in places of worship. In case of a performance rehearsal, the visit to theatre is not available and will be visited only the museum. IMPORTANT NOTE: starting from 19th March, the visit with the guide inside the Duomo is no more included. The guide will provide explanation outside the Duomo, and the clients could enter individually.
Day 10 – MILAN
Breakfast at hotel.
Standard check-out time from hotels is 1000hrs. If you are departing on late afternoon / evening / night flight we will request hotel for a late checkout but the same will be purely subject to availability and not guaranteed. If the rooms are available then the hotel may give late check-out till 1200hrs latest.
Later you will be transferred to airport by a Seat In Coach shuttle. Shuttle only operates between 0800hrs and 1900hrs. In case your flight departs before 1100hrs / after 2200hrs then we may have to arrange a private transfer at an additional cost.
